Home Decor Interiors’ latest additions. Image: Home Decor Interior

Ahead of the summer, Home Decor Interiors have added 4 new fabric collections to each of their brands, Zinc and Black Edition.

We all enjoy playing interior designer. And the summer always feels just the right time to redecorate. If, like me, you enjoy a bit of interior design then these additions to both brands are just the thing to get you started.

So, what are these famed additions? And why are they a must this summer to brighten up your house?

Zinc

At the heart of the Zinc Textile brand is a commitment to originality and cutting-edge design. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant aesthetic of 1970s style, Zinc creates seductive, tactile, and urban collections that captivate the senses. With a predominantly monochromatic palette infused with pops of vibrant colour, each collection is skilfully integrated to offer a luxurious and versatile range of fabrics and wallcoverings. What sets Zinc apart is its ability to infuse unexpected elements into its designs, ensuring that each collection is refreshingly different. From bold patterns to subtle textures, Zinc’s offerings are designed to elevate any space with sophistication and style.

This is certainly clear in their latest additions, which are as follows:

Ventus Sheers Fabrics

Featuring metallic accents, abstract embroidery, and flowing patterns, these fabrics embellish pure linens and cottons, radiating understated opulence.

Through photography, the collection captures the tranquil lightness of the materials, invoking the ambiance of romantically secluded estates. With a muted colour scheme, Ventus embodies a relaxed, effortless vibe, promising boundless adaptability.

The name ‘Ventus’ comes from the Latin word for wind. This perfectly encapsulates the feeling of the sheer and lightweight fabrics.

Superstars

For those who prefer bolder and brighter colours, however, there is the ideal collection for you.

Zinc’s Superstars collection pays homage to the lively misfits of the ’60s and ’70s, named after Andy Warhol’s Superstars.

Embracing the era’s penchant for extravagance, these fabrics boast bold colours, whimsical patterns, and metallic motifs, injecting a dose of radiance into every design.

Mercer Fabrics

The third fabric collection new to Zinc is Mercer, which prioritizes texture. The collection consists of five different materials:

  • An embossed velvet
  • A melange velvet
  • A decorative weave
  • A calendared chenille
  • A faux silk make

There is a mix of some strong colours including a deep red and green as well as classic neutrals.
